Boost your MPC sampler's memory today!
The MPC3000 comes with 2 MB of RAM memory installed on a proprietary
circuit board. It also has two open slots for 30-pin SIMMs. Expand
your memory by: (1) adding either two 1-Meg or two 4-Meg SIMMs,
and (2) by replacing the 2-Meg memory board with an 8-Meg board.
The MPC2000 and MPC2000XL come with 2 MB of RAM
memory installed on the main circuit board. It also has two open
slots for 72-pin SIMMs. Expand your memory by adding either one
or two 16-Meg SIMMs. (When two SIMMs are used, the on-board 2 Meg
is ignored.)

This kit contains two 4-Meg SIMMs, along with
complete instructions for installing them into your sampler.
With the stock 2-Meg memory board, this kit will boost the
memory of an MPC3000 from 2 Meg to 10 Meg. With an 8-Meg memory
board installed (see below), this will boost the memory to
a full 16 Meg. Also works in the S2000, S3000XL, and S3200XL.
Not for use in the MPC2000 or MPC2000XL.
MPC2000/XL
16-MB Memory Expansion

This kit contains one 16-Meg SIMM, along with
complete instructions for installing it into your sampler.
With the stock 2-Meg memory board, this kit will boost the
memory of an MPC2000 from 2 Meg to 18 Meg. With two kits,
this will boost the memory to the full 32 Meg. Not for use
in the MPC3000.

These SCSI CD-ROM drives use a hard-to-find
drive mechanism that works with Akai MPC samplers. These
drives also work with Ensoniq, Kurzweil, and most other
samplers, as well as Macintosh computers. Includes power
cable and 3-foot SCSI cable. Drive mechanism is refurbished;
case and accessories are new.
